At Danish Sound Day 2019, Torsten Dau, professor at Danmarks Tekniske Universitet – DTU, was given this years Danish Sound Award (Dansk Lydpris). The prize were presented in a collaboration between Struer Lydens By and Danish Sound Network.
Torsten’s research specializations are auditory signal processing and perception in humans, functional models of auditory processing, speech perception, computational scene analysis, auditory evoked potentials, hearing instrument signal processing and aided psychophysics.
Torsten Dau was chosen for his great work nationally and internationally.
